Учитель: Hello, children. Hello, dear parents. Здравствуйте, ребята, здравствуйте, уважаемые родители. We are glad to see you today at our holiday. Мы рады приветствовать Вас сегодня на нашем празднике. We have our holiday to the 8th of March – the holiday of all mums, grannies and girls. Мы посвящаем нашу встречу празднику 8 марта – празднику всех мам, бабушек и девочек.
1-й ученик: I like the 8th of March very much. On this day Father and I get up early in the morning. I clean the flat, dust the furniture and sweep the floor. Father makes a present for Mum, he cooks a cake.
2-й ученик.: When Mother gets up, the cake is cooked. We congratulate Mum, give her flowers and the cake and kiss her. Mother is very happy, she smiles and thanks us. We sit at the table and eat the cake. The cake is very tasty and we eat it all.
1-й ученик: Mother is the dearest of all friends I know.
She helps me to work and helps me to play.
That’s why I love her so.
3-й ученик.: I love my mother,
She’s kind and she’s gay.
She reads me books
And helps to play.
4-й ученик: Mother is busy
From morning to night
To keep her family
Happy and bright.

This lovely woman is my mother.
7-й ученик: That is your mother.

8-й ученик: Make a basket for your mother,
And fill it with flowers gay.
Then put a card just to say:
“Happy mother’s Day!”
9-й ученик: Each bright flower
Is here to say
My wish for you:
“Happy Mother’s Day!”
10-й ученик: I love my dear mummy,
I love her very much.
And do you love your mummy?
Of course, and very much!
11-й ученик: I like the way you look,
I like the way you cook,
Now what I really want to say
Is “Happy mother’s day!”
I love my mother
12-й ученик: Who loves Mummy best?
“I”, says Fred,
“I give her flowers,
White, yellow and red”.
13-й ученик: Who loves Mummy best?
“I”, says May,
“With my dear Mummy
I always play”.
14-й ученик: Who loves Mummy best?
“I”, says Joe,
“She asks to help her,
And I always do so”.
1-й ученик: “M” for the million things she gave me.
2-й: “O” means that she’s growing old.
3-й: “T” is for tears she shed to save me.
4-й: “H” is for her heart of purest gold.
5-й: “E” is for eyes, with love lights shining.
6-й: “R” means right and right she’ll always be.
7-й: Put them all together: they spell “mother”
A word that means the world to me.
